Ventricles
The ventricles are the heart’s two super strong pumping chambers. They are located at the bottom of the heart, right below the atria (the receiving chambers).
Think of the ventricles like muscular fists. When they squeeze, they push blood out of the heart with lots of force. The right ventricle sends blood to the lungs to grab some fresh oxygen. The left ventricle pumps oxygen-rich blood out to the rest of your body, giving all your organs the fuel they need to work.
