Hyperadrenocorticism

Dr Jnanee Krishnasamy

Hyperadrenocorticism, aka Cushing’s disease, is an overproduction of steroid hormone from the adrenal glands. It can be caused by an adrenal tumour or a pituitary tumour. The excess steroid hormones cause symptoms like hair falling out and high chance of infections as well as drinking and urinating more.
