Abscessation
An abscess is a pocket or swelling that is filled with pus. In dental disease, a tooth root or malar abscess forms when bacteria enter the space between the tooth and the socket or enter the pulp cavity via a fractured tooth. From the outside, this might look like a swelling or lump on your pet’s face.
